The Brief Introuduction to Liaoning Association for Science and Technology(LNAST)

LNAST was set up in March, 1959. Before setting up, it used to be the National Special Union of Natural Science and Liaoning Popularization Association for Science and Technology, In march, 1959 the two organizations merged into one, that’s the LNAST.

The successive presidents of  LNAST as follows:

The first term ( march , 1959 ) president: Jin Shuliang ( male )

The second term ( Sept , 1980 ) president: Kuo Kexin ( male )

( Dec , 1983 ) president: Tu Changsheng ( male, prof. )

The third term ( Jan , 1987 ) president: Qiu Chengjian ( male, research fellow )

The fourth term ( May , 1992 ) president: Qiu Chengjian ( male, research fellow )

( Nov , 1994 ) president: Luo Jixun ( male, research fellow )

The fifth term (June , 1997 ) president: Li Yiyi ( Femal an academician )

The sixth term (June , 2002 ) president:Wang Tian ran ( male, research fellow )
